Ivo crowned the winner of the Leadership Award at the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards

We were delighted to see our very own Ivo Thomas crowned the winner of the Leadership Award at the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards 2025. 

The illustrious event, now in its 21^st year, was hosted by broadcaster Rishi Persad and took place at York Racecourse on Tuesday 24th February. 

Ivo Thomas is a much valued member of Team Tweenhills and it's great that his work is being recognised.

Ivo was at Tweenhills for a year in 2014 and then went on to The Irish National Stud Course, where he was selected for the John Durkan Award.

Following that he was assistant to Brian Meehan for two and a half years before moving to Australia for a year, working for Matt Cumani.

He returned to Tweenhills September 2018 and has proven a great asset in every year since. He was part of Tweenhills' first consignment of yearlings for 12 years in 2024 - which included selling a Kameko yearling colt for a record 1,000,000gns - and was again vital to our team at the Tattersalls Mare Sale.
