Hannah has been David's assistant for 14 years. She works alongside him at all the sales worldwide, and also does all the pedigree research and catalogue updates prior to each sale. The Qatar Racing operation and QIPCO British Champion Series has been very much part of Hannah's ever expanding role and sees her representing the Al Thani family's sponsorship and racing interests throughout the racing season. During the stud season Hannah manages the nomination sales for the stallions along with ownership liaison. She also formed her own pinhooking syndicate, Redwall Bloodstock, which has enjoyed great success and recently formed another Redwall pinhooking syndicate in Australia.

Karen has been a key member of the team at Tweenhills since 2013. Previously Karen was stud secretary for Bloomsbury Stud for four years before its dispersal and was formally a Farm Secretary for eight years. Karen is the first point of contact at the stud liaising with owners, ensuring they are informed of coverings and foalings. She is responsible for all documentation being accurate, handles the stallion bookings and assists with nominations, as well as collating the worldwide breeding stock information. Karen also assists with hospitality at the sales and at the races.

Alice joined Tweenhills in October 2018. She grew up in Norfolk surrounded by horses and studied Equine Science and Thoroughbred Management at Oxford Brookes University. She then worked abroad including a year in Australia. Before Tweenhills she spent two years at the TBA in Newmarket in the role of Communications Executive. Alice has pinhooked a few Flat-bred foals in recent years and her family have a couple of National Hunt mares. She also has her own horse for hunting and show jumping.

Bryony was assistant to Ger Lyons for five years before joining Tweenhills in February 2012. With Qatar Racing having around 200 horses in training worldwide it's Bryony's job to liaise with all concerned ensuring that Sheikh Fahad and David are kept informed of horses progress, entries and jockey bookings.

Adam grew up in the West Midlands and was introduced to racing by his grandfather. After completing his degree in Equine Breeding and Stud Management at Writtle College, part of the University of Essex, he spent six years working for Timeform in West Yorkshire. Adam joined the Tweenhills team in March 2017 and his role includes writing daily race previews for David and identifying form horses to purchase, as well as selling nominations to Tweenhills' roster of stallions.

Sophie joined Tweenhills in September 2012, she is responsible for all the accounts, client invoicing, payroll and budgeting having previously worked in the finance department of a commercial insurance broker. Sophie is a keen rider, with a horse at home and is now a mum of a beautiful daughter.

Lucy joined Tweenhills in November 2018, wanting to work around horses again after a spell long distance lorry driving. She worked at Overbury Stud as a teenager and studied at Hartpury College before becoming senior yard staff there. In 2011 Lucy became a professional groom and travelled around the world with the Great British Eventing Team. She assists Karen with the daily running of the Stud Office.

Pieter hails from the Western Province of South Africa where he completed a diploma in Equine Management. In 2000 Pieter made a move to the UK to gain industry experience and his first position was at Tweenhills. Pieter then went onto be Stud Groom at Genesis Green Stud for 5 years before taking up Assistant Stud Manager roles at both Kingwood Stud and Whitsbury Manor Stud. Pieter returned to South Africa in 2008 and was appointed Stud Manager at Klawervlei Stud where he headed the team to four Champion Breeder titles in less than 11 years. Pieter joins the Tweenhills team as Stud Manager ahead of the 2020 breeding season.

Ivo was at Tweenhills for a year in 2014 and then went on to The Irish National Stud Course, where he was selected for the John Durkan Award. Following that he was assistant to Brian Meehan for two and a half years before moving to Australia for a year, working for Matt Cumani. He returned to Tweenhills September 2018.

Following looking after hunters during the hunting season, Scott joined Tweenhills in March 2017. Scott is locally born and bred, and worked at Meadow Stud, Huntley, breeding sport horses for six years. He took up the role of Yearling Manager at Tweenhills in 2019.

Xander started at Tweenhills in December 2018. He grew up in Stroud and started working on a livery yard aged 12, which sparked an interest in racing. Xander graduated in Equine Science & Thoroughbred Management from Oxford Brookes University in 2017, and has since worked with mares and foals at Kirtlington and Cheveley Park Studs. Xander works with the Tweenhills stallions and is currently with Zoustar at Widden Stud in Australia.

Charles joined Tweenhills ahead of the 2020 breeding season. He has a wealth of experience having headed a number of yards at Coolmore Ireland and has also spent time with the Stallions at Coolmore Australia.

Graham was a renowned NH Jockey riding 920 winners including both the Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle; he then turned to training and sent out over 100 winners. Graham joined Tweenhills in 2008 and comes into his own during the breaking.

Sally grew up in Worcestershire and had horses from an early age. Her grandad bred thoroughbreds, Shires and hunters. Sally has worked freelance with sports horses and racehorses, and also worked as an AI technician. She gained her university degree in Equine Science and is also a qualified Sports Therapist for humans and horses. Before starting at Tweenhills in January 2020 she worked at the National Stud and Coolmore Australia. Sally aids Sammy with the foaling and has ambitions to become a stud manager. She enjoys horse riding, studying, reading and travelling.

Alicia is from Oxfordshire and had an early love of horses, beginning with a Saturday job on a dressage yard. Studying a diploma in Horse Management at Abingdon and Witney College began her interest in breeding. Alicia has previously worked on both sports horse and thoroughbred studs including Kirtlington Stud. She is currently completing the final year of an Equine Science and Managment degree at Hartpury. She started at Tweenhills at the start of the breeding season 2019; Alicia currently works part time as well as night watch with the mares. Her dissertation is about foals sale preparation.

Zac grew up in Gloucestershire and has hunted since he was young. He has also done a bit of eventing and pony racing. Zac worked for the Willis Brothers – who build cross-country jumps, fences and hurdles for racing etc – before starting at Tweenhills in January. He has ambitions to do the Irish National Stud course and/or work overseas to further his education.

Jordan began working with thoroughbreds in 2012 on a small stud in Devon. There learned how to handle stallions. In 2016 Jordan did the National Stud apprenticeship course which led to him doing mare sales with Shadwell and work experience at Blue Diamond Stud. Then for his apprenticeship placement in 2017 Jordan went to New England Stud for eight months. Also in 2017, he joined Barton Stud where he stayed for two and half years. Jordan joined Tweenhills in January 2020 and has ambitions of being a stallion handler.

Ben started at Tweenhills in July 2020. He is originally from West Sussex and has only just graduated from Leeds Beckett University. Over the last five years or so he has decided to pursue a career in racing and bloodstock. Aside from keeping on top of the racing, Ben is a keen golfer and cricketer. He also plays the ukulele!

James grew up in Hertfordshire and had an interest in horses from a young age, more racing to begin with but developing a bloodstock passion later on. James started his equine career by doing the National Stud Diploma course in 2017 and then went to New Zealand, where he did yearling prep at Cambridge Stud. From there James went to Australia to do yearling prep at Coolmore Australia. He returned to England and worked for Newsells Park Stud for year and a half (also working with mares and a foals) before starting at Tweenhills in early-September. James is a keen Manchester United supporter.

Werner moved to England from South Africa where he was previously a farm manager. Before joining Tweenhills in 2012, he worked at Glympton Estates in Oxford. Werner is an integral part of the team at Tweenhills and is responsible for all of the farm and agricultural maintenance including the Aberdeen Angus suckler herd.
