Another 3yo Stakes performer Stateside for Harbour Watch

The first-crop of Harbour Watch chalked up more Stakes success Stateside with Fields Of Song finishing third in the Melody of Colors Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Saturday 25th February.

A two-time juvenile winner when trained in England by Kevin Ryan last year, this was the first black-type for the three-year-old, now trained by Ian Wilkes and owned by Six Column Stables LLC.

Bred by Ballyreddin Stud, Fields Of Song is out of Singing Field (Singspiel), an unraced sister to Stakes winner Fast And Furious who was second in the Gr.1 Hollywood Derby and third in the Gr.1 Shoemaker Mile; and half-sister to Herboriste, winner of the Gr.2 La Prevoyante Handicap and Dowager Stakes in the US.

Fields Of Song's success was the second three-year-old Stakes performer in the States this year for sire Harbour Watch with Miss Sugars following up her juvenile Stakes victory with a second in the Sweet Life Stakes at Santa Anita in February.
