HARBOUR WATCH AT THE DOUBLE

Harbour Watch sired two winners on Thursday when his three-year-old daughters Wotadoll and Jule In The Crown won handicaps at Yarmouth and Newbury respectively.

First up was Wotadoll who won the second division of the 188Bet Handicap over 6f at Yarmouth. Trained by Dean Ivory for owner-breeder Mr David Mead, Wotadoll got off the mark at the seventh time of asking switched to front-running tactics. Wotadoll is out of the 6f winner Rhapsilian, who is a half-sister to the smart two-year-old Peak To Creek.

Jule In The Crown made a winning debut for the Richard Hannon yard in the Events Bar Management Fillies' Handicap at Newbury, also over 6f. Jule In The Crown had made her eight previous starts for Mick Channon, including winning a maiden and finishing fourth in a Listed race last year. Her maiden win had come on good to firm ground, so it was testament to her versatility with underfoot conditions that she was able to win on heavy going at Newbury.

Jule In The Crown is also owned by her breeder, Mr Mervyn Stewkesbury, and she is out of the 7f winner Jules. This makes her a half-sister to several winners, including smart winner up to 7f Golden Desert and useful 1m winner Stosur.

Jule In The Crown is out of a daughter of Danehill, while Wotadoll is out of a daughter of Danehill's son Dansili. Our congratulations go to connections of both horses.
