Ivo interviewed by Racing Post Bloodstock

Tweenhills Stud Manager Ivo Thomas won the prestigious Leadership award at the 2025 Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards and recently gave an interview to the Racing Post about receiving the honour and life at Tweenhills. 

Ivo was the first person working in the stud side of the industry – opposed to racing – to win the Leadership award, which is one of the major categories at the Godolphin-sponsored event. 

When asked by writer Tom Peacock about the best part of his job, Ivo said: "It's something very simple but it's those spring mornings. I'd be the first out in the yard to feed the horses and when that spring sun is coming up you're greeted by all the mares and foals with their heads over the stable door, all excited for a bit of feed. It's just me and my dog there and you always start off in a good mood."
