Ivo makes final for Leadership Award

We are delighted to announce that our Assistant Stud Manager Ivo Thomas has made the three finalists for the Leadership Award at the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards 2025. 

Ivo Thomas is a much valued member of Team Tweenhills and it's great that his work is being recognised. 

Ivo was at Tweenhills for a year in 2014 and then went on to The Irish National Stud Course, where he was selected for the John Durkan Award.

Following that he was assistant to Brian Meehan for two and a half years before moving to Australia for a year, working for Matt Cumani. 

He returned to Tweenhills September 2018 and has proven a great asset in every year since. He was part of Tweenhills' first consignment of yearlings for 12 years in 2024 - which included selling a Kameko yearling colt for a record 1,000,000gns - and was again vital to our team at the Tattersalls Mare Sale. 

Final judging and the Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards ceremony will be held at York Racecourse on Monday 24 February 2025, wherethe overall Employee of the Year will be crowned.
