More Stakes success for Tweenhills-bred Buckaroo
Qatar Racing homebred Buckaroo added another Stakes win to his CV at the weekend with an impressive victory in the Chelmsford Stakes, Gr.2 at Randwick this weekend.
Previously trained in Ireland by Joesph O'Brien, Buckaroo is already the winner of the Tetrarch Stakes, Listed and Heritage Stakes, Listed before travelling to Australia last year. Since then, under the care of Chris Waller, he has been placed a close 3rd in the Ranvet Stakes, Gr.1 and now looks to likely be targeted at the Hill Stakes, Gr.2 at Rosehill or the Craven Plate, Gr.3 at Randwick.
Born, raised and grazed at Tweenhills. He’s out of the Galileo mare Roheryn, who won a 1m4f Listed race for Qatar Racing in 2014. Roheryn has also produced exciting Gr.3 winner Middle Earth as well as winners Siege Of Troy, Kihavah and Thousand Oaks from all her runners.
