Promise of Success Sells for $1.35million

Promise of Success, who was bought by Hannah Wall at the Tattersalls December Sales in 2020 for just 27,000gns sold from a staggering $AUS1.35million at the Magic Millions National Mares Sale last night. 

The daughter of Dansili is out of the winning Street Cry mare Summer School and was originally in training with Godolphin before being bought by Ted Durcan and Chris Wall for 30,000gns.  She was then re-sold unraced at the Tattersalls December Sales in 2020 where she was picked up by Hannah Wall for 27,000gns and send to John O'Shea in Australia. 

Since moving to Australia, she earnt connections over $AUS1.4million in prize money including the $1,000,000 The Invitation Stakes and Stakes success in the Gr.2 Canadian Club Emancipation Stakes last year, as well as being placed in the Gr.2 Guy Walter Proven Thoroughbred Stakes and Gr.3 Robrick Lodge Triscay Stakes. 

The Rosemont Stud consigned daughter of Dansili was snapped up by Yulong for $1.35million at last night's sale and will head straight to the $1million Gr.1 Kingsford Smith Cup at Eagle Farm on Saturday

“She cost 27,000 Guineas, the last lot through the December Sale on Day 2, about 10 o’clock at night, and she’s just been a revelation. It’s just been the most brilliant journey, with brilliant people – the team at Rosemont and his operation and David (Redvers) and I – and it’s just been the stuff of dreams.” said part-owner Hannah Wall.
