Spiriting wins carrying Redwall Racing colours

There was a very nice winner on Monday in Australia as Spiriting carried the silver, pale blue and red the colours of Redwall Racing, the Australian racing venture set up by our own David Redvers and Hannah Wall.

Written Tycoon filly Spiriting broke her maiden on just her second start in a 10-runner fillies and mares maiden plate over 1050m at Balaklava in the hands of Barend Vorster for Tony and Calvin McEvoy. She landed odds of $1.75 by over two lengths.

Three-year-old Spiriting was bred by Hesket Bloodstock out of dual-winning Stratum mare Crystal Ruby. She was bought at the 2019 Gold Coast Yearling Sale from Amarina Farm Denman by McEvoy Mitchell Racing and David Redvers Bloodstock for A$410,000.

Redwall Racing was created by David and Hannah to capitalise on the dual positives of exceptional prize money and a burgeoning resale market in Australasia.

Redwall Racing was introduced following the successful pinhooking ventures Redwall Bloodstock (operating in the northern hemisphere) and Redwall Syndicates (southern hemisphere). Here's to plenty more success!
