Tom Tulliver makes it 4 for Hot Streak

Hot Streak had his fourth individual winner when Tom Tulliver won the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Stakes over five furlongs at Yarmouth on Wednesday.

After shaping well when third on his debut, Tom Tulliver improved to beat seven rivals at the east coast racecourse. Showing all the speed associated with his family, he tanked through the race before showing a tenacious attitude to hold off Lincoln Blue.

Tom Tulliver is trained by North Yorkshire handler Declan Carroll and was ridden by Group 1-winning sprint jockey Tom Eaves.

Tom Tulliver carries the same two shade of green diamonds – of Frank Gillespie – also carried by his half-brother Abel Handy who won the 2017 Gr.3 Cornwallis Stakes for the same connections.

April foal Tom Tulliver was bred by Biddestone Stud Ltd out of their Pastoral Pursuits mare Belle Isle. She is from a very fast family that contains Gr.2 King’s Stand and Cornwallis winner Dominica, as well as Qatar Racing's Gr.3 Albany Stakes winner Kiyoshi.

Tom Tulliver was consigned by Barton Stud at the Tattersalls Book 3 Yearling Sale where he was bought by his trainer for 45,000 guineas.
