Tweenhills-bred Believed wins by 8½ lengths

3yo Frankel filly Believed, who was born, raised and grazed at Tweenhills, created a striking impression when winning at Dundalk on Tuesday and could now head to the Gr.2 Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot. 

Believed confirmed the promise of her first 2 starts when scoring easily upped to 12f at Dundalk, justifying favouritism. She was always well placed under Ben Coen and never looked like getting beat after hitting the front 3f out. 

It’s no surprise Believed improved for the extra distance as she’s a half-sister to Melbourne Cup winner Gold Trip, as well as other winners. Believed is trained by Johnny Murtagh for Qatar Racing. 

Believed is out of Dubai Destination mare Sarvana, whose other winners include Listed placed Got Wind. Another daughter, Got Storm, produced Stakes-placed sprinter Jeudixx.
