Tweenhills Consignment off to a flying start
Following on from a fantastic sale at Arqana, with our 3 lots offered sold for an average of €567,000. We offered a strong draft of 8 yearlings at the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Sale at Doncaster, our first consignment at the sale since 2012.
The team both at the sales and at home did a fantastic job and were kept busy with 648 shows ahead of the two day sale.
The consignment was topped by a daughter of Zoustar out of Gr.3 winner Moravia who sold for £120,000 to Stephen Hillen/ Kevin Ryan. Following the sale Stephen Hillen commented
“She’s for Peter Tingey and Angie Bailey, who owned Brando [Pivotal], and who wanted a filly this year. She’s very scopey and has a bit of pedigree – her dam was very fast. She was my pick of the sale.
Also to sell was a Kameko filly out of triple Gr.3 winner La Rioja who sold to Ted Durcan/ Richard Hughes for 72,000gns. The filly was a fantastic advert for her sire and has always been a stand out at the farm.
Thank you to all purchases and we look forward to following all the horses on the racetrack.
