Havana Gold nominated for award

Havana Gold has been shortlisted for the British EBF Stallion Special Merit Award for the 2022 Flat Season. The winner of which will be announced by the Thoroughbred Breeders Association at the end of January with the award presented at their Flat Celebration Dinner in the summer. Havana Gold was nominated for his excellent strike rate with winners-runners and black type winners-runners amongst other attributes.

Havana Gold is no stranger to awards having been the recipient of the Tattersalls Silver Salver for the leading first-season sire from the 2017 flat season. Since then he has go on to sire 27 Stakes horses including Gr.1 winner Havana Grey and last season’s Gr.2 winner El Caballo.

Havana Gold will stand for £10,000 1st Oct SLF this season and looks to be covering another exciting book of mares on the back of his best season to date for black-type winners.
