Tabdeed looks Group horse on return

Havana Gold colt Tabdeed made a deeply impressive return when winning the Unison Defending Your NHS Conditions Stakes over six furlongs at Doncaster on Saturday.

Four-year-old Tabdeed has now won four of his five starts and streaked away from his three rivals on Town Moor. He has now been given a Timeform rating of 114p which says he's every inch a Stakes performer.

Considering he's out of a Peintre Celebre mare who stayed a mile and a half and is a half-sister to Derby runner-up Walk In The Park, it may come as a surprise that Tabdeed has lots of natural speed. However, Havana Gold's dam Jessica's Dream was lightning quick and, of course, the sire has also produced Gr.1-winning sprinter Havana Grey.

We cannot wait to see Tabdeed - who is unbeaten over six furlongs - back in Group company as he looks the real deal. Congratulations to his breeders Red House Stud and Ketton Ashwell Ltd, and Angus Gold who bought him on behalf of Shadwell Estates for just 42,000gns as a foal at Tattersalls.
