1/50th share in Kameko selling online tonight

The first share put on the market in record-breaking classic winner and Gr.1-producing sire Kameko will be sold in Arqana’s November Online Sale on the evening of Tuesday 26 November. The auction is live between 5pm-7pm local time (4pm-6pm UK time).

Kameko stands at Tweenhills in Gloucestershire, England and his 2025 stud fee will be £20,000 (Oct 1st SLF). A Gr.1 winner at both 2 and 3 himself, including the fastest ever time recorded in the QIPCO 2000 Guineas, he has also enjoyed a stellar year with his first 2yo runners on the track.

Kameko is the sire of Gr.1 winner New Century, Gr.2 winner and Gr.1-placed Wimbledon Hawkeye, other Stakes performers Hawksbill and Rajeko, and impressive unbeaten filly American Gal.

A yearling colt by Kameko – a full brother to New Century – sold for 1,000,000gns, the highest ever price for a colt sold at the Tattersalls October Book 2 Sale, and Kameko has had foals sell for six-figure sums in each of his three crops so far.

Unsurprisingly, Kameko’s book of mares for 2025 is filling up very fast.
