Another Group winner for Havana Gold
Treasuring gave Havana Gold a second Group winner - and fourth Stakes success overall - when making all in the Gr.3 Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club Curragh Stakes on Sunday.
Havana Gold's daughter Treasuring took her record to three wins (pictured winning at Tipperary) when leading from pillar to post in the Gr. 3 Curragh Stakes over five furlongs, beating her chief market danger Goodthingstaketime by half a length with Listed winner Sirici in third.
Trainer Ger Lyons said: "Treasuring is developing all the time and tries very hard."
It was a third win in this Gr.3 race in four years for Qatar Racing-owned fillies trained by Ger Lyons after Ainippe in 2014 and Beat Cheek in 2015.
Treasuring was bought by David Redvers for 32,000 guineas at Tattersalls' December Foal Sale. Bred by the Pocock Family, she is out of the Excellent Art mare You Look So Good, who won over seven furlongs as a three-year-old, which gives Treasuring every chance of being even better at three.
Treasuring once again showed blistering natural speed and a fantastic attitude, the same qualities that have been on show from Havana Gold's triple Stakes-winning son Havana Grey this year.
Indeed, Havana Grey was also in action on Sunday just minutes later running another huge race to finish second in the Gr. 1 Prix Morny at Deauville, having made all and proving himself over six furlongs in the process (video below).
