Hot Streak's first foal born
The Tweenhills-based sire Hot Streak welcomed his first foal into the world at the weekend with the birth of a filly out of the Stakes mare Breedj.
Bred by Patrick Cosgrove, the filly is a half-sister to two winners from two runners out of the Listed Marygate Stakes runner-up by Acclamation. Breedj's dam is the unraced half-sister to the Listed Doncaster Stakes winner Shaard(Anabaa), from the family of Gr.1 winner and sire Stormello and Gr.3 winner and sire The Pamplemousse.
The Qatar Bloodstock stallion was the best sprinter of his generation as a two-year-old, and won the Gr.2 Temple Stakes over 5f at Haydock as a three-year-old. He is also the highest rated two-year-old by Iffraaj, from the World class family of the mighty Height of Fashion and sire sensation Deep Impact.
Hot Streak was supported with a strong first book of mares and Tweenhills is look forward to welcoming many more hot first foals in 2017.
