Another son of Zoustar to stand at stud
After the recent news that Zousain will stand alongside his sire at Widden Stud, it was announced a second son of Zoustar would retire to stud in Australia: Sun City will join the Telemon Thoroughbreds roster.
Sun City raced six times and won the Gr.3 Magic Millions B.J. McLachlan Stakes over 1200m at Doomben in December 2018. He was also runner-up in a Listed race on his two-year-old debut.
A leg infection put paid to his Magic Millions and Golden Slipper hopes.
By Zoustar out of Roulettes, Sun City was bought by his trainer Tony McEvoy and David Redvers for $525,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
Roulettes is by Flying Spur mare and a half-sister to stakes winner Royal Discretion. Roulettes' sister Tactfully has already produced Listed winner Vezalay.
Sun City will stand for A$7,700 this upcoming Southern Hemisphere breeeding season.
