Charm-ing filly Dynasty wins third handicap

Charm Spirit filly Royal Dynasty won her third race from four starts for new connections on Friday.

After two all-the-way handicap wins over six furlongs at Lingfield in December and February, Royal Dynasty proved herself over seven furlongs when making all in a seven-furlong handicap at Chelmsford.

She was recording her second win under the red-hot Tom Marquand, and her improvement after being bought at the Tattersalls December Mares Sale has been a feather in the cap of Newmarket trainer Mohamed Moubarak.

Royal Dynasty is out of Royal Applause mare Millisecond. The cross of Charm Spirit's sire Invincible Spirit and Royal Applause has obviously produced a horse with lots of natural speed.

Talking of sprinters, Charm Spirit's son Sansom recorded his sixth win from 11 starts in a 1200m handicap at Morphettville in Australia on Monday. Sansom - who was bred by Qatar Racing out of the Fastnet Rock mare Bryony - was also runner-up in the Gr.3 Zeditave Stakes at Caulfield on his previous outing.
