New Century winning at Salisbury

Kameko colt nominated for Cartier Award

Kameko's son New Century is one of 10 horses nominated for the Two Year Old Colt award at the 2024 Cartier Awards. 

After winning the Listed Stonehenge Stakes at Salisbury and Gr.1 Summer Stakes at Woodbine, New Century has been honoured by making the shortlist for the Two Year Old Colt award at the Cartier Awards.

The son of Kameko has also finished a good 4th in the Gr.1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf and will now be campaigned with the 2000 Guineas in mind.

The overall Cartier Horse of The Year award has a long and prestigious history with its winners a list of Flat racing greats. Roaring Lion won the award fo Qatar Racing in 2018.
