Outstanding Zoustar draft in 2021 Gold Coast Yearling Sale

The status of Zoustar as a sire sensation in his native Australia is fully franked by the quality of his 57-strong draft at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, which takes place from 12-18 January.

Widden Stud – where Zoustar stood the 2020 Southern Hemisphere breeding season for A$121,000 (dropped from A$154,000 due to Covid-19) – sell 10 Zoustar yearlings. They include Lot 666 a colt out of a half-sister to Gr.1 winner Star Witness; Lot 332 a colt out of Gr.3 winner Fuddle Dee Duddle; Lot 202 a colt out of multiple Stakes winner Dame Claire; and Lot 882 a filly out of multiple Stakes winner The Messina Nymph.

The six Zoustar yearlings from Westbury Stud Ltd include Lot 432 a colt out of multiple Stakes winner Kakakakatie; Lot 535 a colt out of Gr.2-placed Metaphorical; and Lot 930 a filly out of Gr.2-placed Villa Bled.

Also among the consignors of Zoustar yearlings are Coolmore who offer three. They include Lot 346 a colt out of dual Gr.1 winner Global Glamour; and Lot 462 a colt out of Stakes winner and Gr.1-placed Lake Geneva.
