Second individual Group 1 winner for Zoustar

Zoustar was represented by a second individual Group 1 winner when his son Top Knight won the Singapore Guineas at Kranji on Saturday.

Top Knight had already won the Gr.2 Singapore Classic and he showed a great turn of foot to win the Guineas (for 3-year-olds over 1600m) with something to spare.

The even-money favourite is trained by Michael Clements - who had 5 of the 16 runners - for owners Falcon Racing No.7 Stable and was given an excellent ride by Vlad Duric.

Top Knight was knocked down for $130,000 at the 2017 Gold Coast Magic Millions Horses in Training Sale and is from Zoustar's first crop.

Sadly Top Knight is a gelding so he won't have a place at stud, but that also means racing fans will get to see him for many years to come.

Zoustar has now registered 4 Group 1 wins as a sire - as well as many Group 1 placings - with his superstar filly Sunlight winning 3 herself.
