Streak foal stands out with lightning marking

A cracking foal by Hot Streak was born at Tweenhills on Wednesday 24 January and certainly sets himself apart with his out of the ordinary mark... a streak of lightning on his nose!

The chestnut colt (pictured) is the first foal out of Sciarra who won a seven-furlong maiden for Qatar Racing in 2016. He seems typical of Hot Streak's progeny so far.

The Hot Streak wasn't the first foal born at Tweenhills this year, though. That was a bay colt by Charm Spirit who arrived on January 13.

He is out of the French mare Shiba who made a winning debut over a mile and a half in 2015 for Qatar Racing and the Ecurie des Monceaux. Shiba had a colt by Havana Gold in 2017.

There are plenty more foals by Hot Streak, Charm Spirit and Havana Gold due imminently at Tweenhills, and our Foaling Manager Victoria Macauley is going to be very busy for the next few months!

Hot Streak was a top-class sprinter and his third dam is the outstanding broodmare Height of Fashion, dam of Nayef, Nashwan and Unfuwain. The stallions first crop are now yearlings.

Hot Streak stands at £6,000 October 1st SLF -- contact us now and book your nomination!
