Tweenhills announce 2026 stallion fees

Tweenhills has announced its stallion fees for 2026 with Gr.1-producing sire Kameko to stand at £15,000 (Oct 1st SLF) and his fellow Gr.1 winner Lightning Spear at £3,000 (Oct 1st SLF).

The fastest 2,000 Guineas winner in history, Kameko is the sire of 2yo Gr.1 winner New Century and Wimbledon Hawkeye, a 2yo Gr.2 winner in the UK and successful in the $3.5 million Nashville Derby in the US this year. 

Kameko is also the sire of this year’s Gr.3 Sirenia Stakes winner Five Ways, who was 4th in the Gr.1 Middle Park Stakes and rates a leading sprint prospect for 2026. 

Also by Kameko are 2025 Stakes winner American Gal, Stakes-placed Jackknife and 100-rated Rakejo, as well as Hawksbill and Spell Master who sold for 175,000gns and 150,000gns respectively at the recent Tattersalls Autumn Horses In Training Sale. 

Kameko has had yearlings sell for 1,000,000gns, €310,000, 250,000gns, €250,000, 200,000gns, €160,000gns, 150,000gns, €170,000gns, 145,000gns, 140,000gns, €160,000 etc. He has had five yearling sell for six-figure sums this year, three of them at Tattersalls October Book 1 Sale. 

Sussex Stakes hero Lightning Spear has produced four horses that have each won at least five races, namely Royal Velvet (who has won 7 times), her stablemate Atlantic Gamble and Thunderous Love (who have each won 6 times) and Charlie’s Choice

There are another nine horses by Lightning Spear who have all won multiple races. He has also had winners in France and Ireland, as well as winner Lightening Mann sell to Australia.
