Kameko at Tweenhills
Tweenhills' Royal Ascot success recognised
Following the success of Tweenhills at Royal Ascot 2026, Racing Post Bloodstock interviewed our managing director David Redvers.
A stunning Royal Ascot for Tweenhills sire Kameko, whose son Generic won the Gr.3 Hampton Court Stakes and other sons Defiantly and Wimbledon Hawkeye were both 2nd at the meeting, was recognised by Racing Post Bloodstock.
Generic was bred by David Redvers, Peter Molony and Henry de Bromhead. He only made his debut in March and had finished 2nd to the subsequent Gr.1 Prix du Jockey Club winner Constitution River in the Listed Dee Stakes at Chester.
Another winner at the meeting with a Tweenhills connection was Daiquiri Bay in the Copper Horse Handicap. He was born, raised and grazed at Tweenhills before being sold as a foal for 100,000gns.
Kitty Trice's article also recognised the recent success of King of Change, including a new Stakes winner in Coedana.
David said: "It also reaffirmed King of Change's extraordinary abilities as a stallion. He remains at around the ten per cent stakes winners to runners ratio which puts him in the elite category. He's also had two first crop two-year-old winners this year, including one last week during Ascot, so he's going brilliantly."
