Two impressive winners for Zoustar this week

Zouky provided her sire Zoustar with another exciting 2yo winner when she was successful in the Fillies' Maiden Stakes at Newbury on debut on Friday.

The 2yo filly, who was making her debut, was slowly into stride but chased leaders before taking the lead one furlong out before staying on well to win by 3/4 length.

Zouky, who was bred by Bumble Bloodstock and retained in partnership with D Fravigar and K Dixon is out of the Tobougg mare Kerry's Dream who was a winner at two and has already produced Stakes winning 2yo Ventura Mist.

Zouky was a second impressive winner for Zoustar this week with Zu Run- who was born and raised at Tweenhills- winning by two and a half lengths at Chelmsford on Tuesday and now holds an entry in the Listed Two Year Old Trophy at Redcar on Oct 1.
