Two new Group 2 winners for Zoustar

There were two new Group 2 winners for Zoustar in recent says as filly Mizzy won her second Stakes race in the Sheraco Stakes at Rosehill and Zoutori won the Bobbie Lewis Quality Stakes at Flemington.

Mizzy had won the Group 3 Toy Show Stakes at Randwick on her previous start and maintained the partnership with jockey Tommy Berry to beat Fasika by a neck in the Sheraco.

Four-year-old Mizzy is out of Magnus (by Flying Spur) mare Missy Cummings.

After a couple of disappointing runs Zoutori regained the winning thread when beating Parsifal by two lengths in the 1200m Bobbie Lewis Quality. Ridden by Linda Meech, Zoutori swooped down the stands' side (while most of the field came down the centre) to gain his fifth success.

Four-year-old Zoutori is out of Haradasun (by Fusaichi Pegasus) mare Atotori.

Zoustar as now sired 10 individual Stakes winners, including three-time Australian Group 1 winner Sunlight and Group 1 winner in Singapore, Top Knight.
