Winners marching on for Havana Gold
Two winners in two days for first-season sire Havana Gold with Marchingontogether landing the Beeby Maiden Auction Fillies' Stakes in style yesterday at Leicester on her racecourse debut.
Challenging up the middle this two-year-old filly led well inside the final furlong and stayed on best to win by two and a quarter lengths going away for trainer Ivan Furtado and owners Bgc Racing & Partner.
Marchingontogether has already repaid her owners having been purchased for just £800 from Goffs UK by Doncaster Racing Ltd. Bred by Whatcote Farm Stud, she is out of the 6f AW winner Transvaal Sky, a half-sister to the German Listed-placed winner Leonardo's Friend out of a half-sister to Gr.1 Prix Morny winner Bad As I Wanna Be.
This latest winner for the Tweenhills based sire Havana Gold came hot on the heels of Havana Grey's impressive victory at Ayr on 8th May.
