Zoustar's progeny's won over A$3 million in prize money, which was a new record for a freshman sire. Zoustar was the wide-margin champion by earnings, following in the hoofprints of his late sire Northern Meteor.

Zoustar's winners included three Gr. 2 winners in Sunlight, Lean Mean Machine and Zousain, as well as another Stakes performer in Persuader.

Sunlight's five wins included the Gr. 2 Tab Silver Slipper Stakes, Gr. 3 Canadian Club Magic Night Stakes and the Listed Magic Millions 2yo Classic, winning her connections A$1.2 million in the last-named raced.

Lean Mean Machine and Zousain were responsible for a Zoustar 1-2 in the Gr. 2 Sires' Produce Stakes. Zousain, winner of the Gr. 2 Moet & Chandon Classic, was also runner-up in the Gr. 1 J.J. Atkins Stakes.

Zousain carries the colours of Qatar Racing, who purchased a stake in Zoustar following his stunning win in the 2013 Coolmore Stud Stakes, his second Gr. 1 success. Zoustar will temporarily join Qatar Racing's roster of stallions at Tweenhills.

Zoustar has now sired 11 individual winners of 19 races, with his latest winner being Charge who led home another quinella for the sire - both colts owned by Qatar Racing - in a 1100m handicap at Warwick Farm this morning.

Suffice to say that we are extremely excited to be standing a stallion of Zoustar's calibre at Tweenhills - and what a line-up we'll have with Charm Spirit also back to join Havana Gold and Hot Streak.
