Zoustar filly Sunlight close third in another Gr.1

Sunlight added yet another piece of strong Stakes form to her resume when a close third in the Gr.1 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes over 1000m at Flemington last Saturday.

Sunlight's trainer Tony McEvoy said:

"They went very quick and she just got a little tired late, and also got a little bit of a bump late too. I was proud of her and she'll definitely improve on the run."

On the same day, another three-year-old daughter of Zoustar, Madam Rouge, improved her form to finish a narrow second in the Gr.2 Tab Light Fingers Stakes over 1200m at Randwick. She is trained by Chris Waller and out of a mare by Al Maher (by Danehill).
