Zoustar filly tops the Magic Millions Weanling Sale

International sire sensation Zoustar added another feather to his cap, when his weanling daughter out of Members Joy sold for $750,000- topping the Magic Millions Weanling Sale and equalling the previous sale record.

Zoustar is now responsible for both the highest priced yearling and highest priced weanling in the Southern Hemisphere in 2022.

Consigned by Segenhoe Stud, the filly is out of the Stake winner Members Joy and was purchased by John Kelly on behalf of Cloverfield Bloodstock, who plan to pinhook and sell her at the 2023 Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

After the purchase John Kelly commented "She's a lovely filly, she's out of a very good racemare who is a good broodmare and she's by a champion stallion - they cost what they cost!"

"She's a lovely mover. She's got a great head - basically just a very nice filly."

Zoustar is currently standing his fourth Northern Hemisphere breeding season at Tweenhills where he is heavily oversubscribed once again. His first crop of 2yos have sold for up to 400,000gns at the Breeze-up sales and runners include the RPR 93 rated Alexis Zorba and RPR 83 rated Annie Maher.
