Zoustar yearling sells for A$1m on Gold Coast!

We are not even halfway through the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale (12-18 January) and already Zoustar has made a very big impression...again.

Over half of the Zoustar yearlings being offered at the sale have sold so far, with a staggering eight making over A$500,000.

A Zoustar became one of the eight lots so far to have made over A$1,000,000. That was Lot 332, a colt offered by Widden Stud out of Gr.3 winner and Gr.2-placed Fuddle Dee Duddle (by Red Ransom).

This stunning Zoustar colt was purchashed for A$1,000,000 by a partnership of Victorian Alliance, Suman Hedge B'Stock (FBAA) and David Redvers Bloodstock.

Widden also sold a Zoustar colt for A$800,000, Lot 483 out of Sepoy mare Lone, a half-sister to three Stakes winners. He was signed for by James Harron Bloodstock, while Peachester Lodge Pty Ltd paid A$700,000 for Lot 627, Element Hill's full sister to Zoustar's Gr.2 winner and sire Zousain.

Coolmore Stud sold two Zoustar colts for A$600,000 each. Lot 364 was out of dual Gr.1 winner Global Glamour and bought by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott Racing and Lot 462 was out of Stakes winner Lady Geneva and picked up by Ciaron Maher Bloodstock.

The top lot remains Widden Stud's Snitzel colt out of Bonny O'Reilly (by O'Reilly) who sold for A$1,900,000 to Tom Magnier. The mare has a foal at foot by Zoustar.
