Where’s the most unusual place you’ve been?

Dunedin in New Zealand for ‘O Week’, as they call it, while meeting a few friends. I saw some things I’ll never forget. They gave it a good go!

And what's the most unusual thing you’ve eaten?

Eel; the first and last time.

What are the best and worst purchases you’ve ever made?

Best would be AirPods – that’s probably quite unsociable of me but I use them all the time. Worst? I’ve bought some questionable clothes in the past [editor: see photo]

Which song have you got on repeat?

Travis Scott’s Astroworld album. Not that you’d know who that is.

What program do you turn off if it’s on?

I live with Joe Robinson and he plays Desert Island Discs on repeat so it would have to be that.

How does your ideal day off look?

When we don’t go racing on a Saturday, I love going home to play for the local football team and having a good catch up with mates.

If magic was real, what would you do first?

Teleport – I wouldn’t miss out on much.

What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it?

Some of these do-gooders. You wonder why we give them the time of day as they’ll never be happy.

What would a world populated by clones of you be like?

A load of craic. Not much would get done though.
