Colt ex King Of Change who sold for €58,000
King Of Change colt sells for €58,000
The first yearling by King Of Change to go through the ring in 2026 sold for €58,000 in Wednesday's Goffs February Sale session.
The colt, who is from King Of Change's biggest crop of 132 mares, is out of an unraced sister to Gr.1 winner Sea Silk Road and was bred by Colleglands Stud who have been longtime supporter of his sire.
The colt was secured by Nick Cope to pinhook as a yearling this year.
Having underbid the first King Of Change through the ring, Eddie O'Leary of Lynn Lodge Stud was the successful purchaser of Lot 238, the only other yearling by King Of Change in the sale.
Bred and consigned by Carrigbeg Stud, he is a half-brother to two 2yo winners to date and from the family of Gr.1 placed Tangle.
We wish new connections the best of luck with them!
