Havana Gold and Zoustar breezers make £120,000+

Bullet breezes saw two-year-old's by Tweenhills stallions Havana Gold and Zoustar (x2) make six-figure sums at the Goffs UK Breeze Up Sale 2022 on Thursday.

Fresh from his son El Caballo completing his five-timer on All-Weather Finals Day, Havana Gold saw his daughter out of Stakes-placed Statue of Liberty mare Liberty Lady sell for £120,000. She was consigned by the Byrne family's Knockgraffon Stables in Ireland and bought by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock.

Zoustar’s filly out of dual Gr.3 winner Ainippe (Captain Rio) fetched £150,000. She was offered by Mick Murphy's Longways Stables in Ireland and was purchased by James Harron / Blandford / de Burgh.

Another from Longways was the Zoustar colt out of four-time winner Always A Drama (Red Jazz). It’s particularly interesting that Gr.1-winning sprint trainer Bryan Smart went to £130,000 to secure him as he also trains Zoustar’s unraced son Reginald Charles, bought for £95,000 as a yearling.

For his fourth straight season at Tweenhills, Zoustar’s book is full. There are still some spaces for mares in Havana Gold’s book so please get in touch now on 01452 700 177 – he’s clearly excellent value at £12,500 (Oct 1st SLF).
