Outstanding First Foals by Lightning Spear

The first foals by Champion Older Miler Lightning Spear are continuing to impress breeders, including this outstanding colt, the first foal out of dual winner Black Sails.

Lightning Spear, who was purchased for 260,000gns as a yearling, enjoyed a phenomenal racing career which saw him win the Gr.1 Sussex Stakes and placed in a further seven Gr.1s.

This year, in light of Lightning Spear's early subfertility issues, we will be standing him for £5,000. Additionally, the first 50 mares booked will transfer from Oct 1st contracts to Lifetime Breeding Rights* in the event that the mare is safely in foal on Oct 1st.

Breeding Right holders will be entitled to one nomination per year for as long as Lightning Spear stands at Tweenhills at no further fee (excluding keep and veterinary costs).
